Dear
Friend, Last week you received a special message from MSOE President
Dr. Hermann Viets requesting your support for the MSOE Annual Fund. As a
fellow alumnus and the chairman of the MSOE Alumni Board of Directors –
Financial Strength Committee, I want to echo Dr. Viets’ request. For
those who responded to last week’s email – thank you, your gift will
provide needed assistance for the students of MSOE.
The economic crisis
has implications for all of us – including MSOE. Today more than ever the
importance of our alumni support is most critical. While all of us have to make
decisions every day about financial priorities, I ask you to give to the 2008-2009 Annual Fund.
No matter how much you choose to support, whether it’s $5 or $5,000, your
gift will make a difference in a MSOE student’s life. Contributing
to the Annual Fund can is easy and convenient through MSOE’s secure
Web site and for our alums who are located overseas.
Matching gifts are dollars matched by employers in response to charitable contributions
made by their employees. Retirees, as well as spouses of employees are often also
eligible for corporate matching gifts. To find out if your employer is a matching
gift company, please contact your company’s human resources office. This
simple step could double, triple, or possibly quadruple your gift to MSOE. If
you have questions regarding matching gifts, you may contact Frank Habib habib@msoe.edu
at (414) 277-7259.
On behalf of the Alumni Board of Directors, I would
like to express my sincere appreciation for your support of MSOE.
Sincerely,

Michael J. Ebben ’82 Vice President & General Manager Badger Packaging
Corp. MSOE Alumni Board of Directors – Financial Strength Committee MSOE

to apply the business-oriented education they receive while attending MSOE.
All aspects of the café, from marketing and accounting to operations management,
are handled by a team of experienced students from various business-oriented majors.
